Who I am

Hi, my name is Frankie and I am a qualified counsellor registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I adhere to their ethical framework, meaning that I work professionally, safely and confidentially.

I work integratively combining person-centred and psychodynamic counselling theory to deliver high quality counselling services.

I work compassionately and empathically, without judgement, to create a confidential and safe space for you to talk and explore your experiences. I can help you to understand your thoughts and feelings to create a better understanding of yourself, others and your relationships, to promote healing and growth.

How Can Counselling Help?

Counselling is a safe and confidential space for you to talk through your experiences and gain understanding of yourself. A qualified counsellor is trained to listen to you and help you find your own answers to problems, without judgment. They will help you to explore your thoughts and feelings to develop a greater understanding of your patterns of behaviour and yourself, to support you in managing your experiences and deepening self-understanding. People often choose to have counselling because they are experiencing difficulties at a particular point in their lives, however, you do not need to be in crisis to have counselling.

“A counsellor will not give you their opinions or advice or prescribe medication. They will help you find your own solutions – whether that’s making effective changes in your life or finding ways of coping with your problems.” Visit the BACP website for more information on what counselling is and how it can help you.

Powerful is our need to be known, really known by ourselves and others, even if only for a moment.
